A system, method, computer program product, and combinations thereof, that allows for user-defined customization in the evaluation of credit worthiness of both consumer and business applications. The system includes a credit evaluation customization system that executes a request to evaluate credit worthiness, a customization database that stores both pre-defined and user-defined data that is used by the customization system, and a front end system that preferably provides a graphical user interface to both access the customization system and to customize the data stored in customization database. The method of the present invention involves customizing data and evaluating the credit worthiness of the application by executing a request while utilizing the customized data.
