A computer system for analyzing a specimen processing workflow in a pathology laboratory including a display (103) and a processor (104) configured to provide a first interface (900), a second interface (1100), and a third interface (1200) to the display (103), receive, via the first interface (900), a first set of parameters as-sociated with an existing specimen processing workflow in a pathology laboratory, the first set of parameters including a workflow process and a workflow scale, and de-termine, based on the first set of parameters, current performance data of the existing specimen processing workflow having an associated current cost information and cur-rent time utilization. The processor (104) may further be configured to receive, via the second interface (1100), a second set of parameters associated with a proposed modification to the existing specimen processing workflow, the second set of parame-ters including parameters associated with at least one laboratory device, determine, based on the first and second sets of parameters, revised performance data having an associated revised cost information and revised time utilization, and provide an out-put comprising a comparison between revised performance data and the current per-formance data.
La présente invention concerne un système informatique permettant d'analyser un flux de travaux de traitement d'échantillon dans un laboratoire de pathologie comprenant un dispositif d'affichage (103) et un processeur (104) configuré pour : fournir une première interface (900), une deuxième interface (1100), et une troisième interface (1200) au dispositif d'affichage (103) ; pour recevoir, via la première interface (900), un premier ensemble de paramètres associés à un flux de travaux de traitement d'échantillon existant dans un laboratoire de pathologie, ledit premier ensemble comprenant un processus de flux de travaux et une échelle de flux de travaux ; et pour déterminer, sur la base du premier ensemble de paramètres, des données de performance actuelle du flux de travaux de traitement d'échantillon existant comprenant des informations de coût actuel et une utilisation de temps actuelle associés. Le processeur (104) peut en outre être configuré pour recevoir, via la deuxième interface (1100), un second ensemble de paramètres associés à une modification proposée apportée au flux de travaux de traitement d'échantillon existant ; ledit second ensemble comprenant des paramètres associés à au moins un dispositif de laboratoire, pour déterminer, sur la base des premier et second ensembles de paramètres, des données de performance révisée comprenant des informations de coût révisé et une utilisation de temps révisée associés, et à fournir un résultat comprenant une comparaison entre des données de performance révisée et les données de performance actuelle.
