The invention provides a method, for evaluating a biological condition of a subject, comprising: a. obtaining from the subject a sample having at least one of RNAs and proteins; b. deriving from the sample a first profile data set, the first profile data set including a plurality of members, each member being a quantitative measure of the amount of a distinct RNA or protein constituent in a panel of constituents selected so that measurement of the constituents enables measurement of the biological condition; and c. producing a calibrated profile data set for the panel, wherein each member of the calibrated profile data set is a function of a corresponding member of the first profile data set and a corresponding member of a baseline profile data set for the panel, the calibrated profile data set providing a measure of the biological condition of the subject.
L'invention concerne une technique permettant d'évaluer un état biologique chez un sujet, qui consiste a) à prélever un échantillon possédant au moins des ARN et des protéines sur ce sujet; b) à dériver de cet échantillon un premier ensemble de données de profil comprenant plusieurs éléments, chaque élément étant représenté par une mesure quantitative de la quantité d'un constituant d'ARN ou de protéine distinct dans un panel de constituants sélectionnés, de sorte que la mesure de ces constituants permet de mesurer un état biologique; et c) à produire un ensemble de données de profil calibrées pour ledit panel, chaque élément de cet ensemble étant une fonction d'un élément correspondant du premier ensemble de données de profil et d'un élément correspondant d'un ensemble de données de profil de ligne isoélectrique pour ledit panel, l'ensemble de données de profil calibrées fournissant une mesure de l'état biologique du sujet.
