Systems and methods for determining, characterizing and/or predicting the impact of a sprinkler discharge spray on a fire induced mass flow through a vent, preferably a doorway, of a compartment. Provided are systems and methods for determining a sprinkler coefficient that characterizes the ability of a sprinkler to reduce a fire induced mass flow from the compartment. The sprinkler coefficient preferably defines a ratio of a mass flow from a compartment, in the absence of a discharging sprinkler, to the mass flow from a compartment, in the presence of a discharging sprinkler. Accordingly, the systems and methods herein provide for the sprinkler coefficient to define a mass flow equation by accounting for the influence of a discharging sprinkler spray and provide for a new fire induced mass flow calculator.
L'invention concerne des systèmes et des procédés pour déterminer, caractériser et/ou prédire l'impact d'une pulvérisation de décharge d'asperseur sur un écoulement massique induit par un incendie à travers une ventilation, de préférence une porte, d'un compartiment. L'invention concerne des systèmes et des procédés pour déterminer un coefficient d'asperseur qui caractérise l'aptitude d'un asperseur à réduire un écoulement massique induit par un incendie à partir du compartiment. Le coefficient d'asperseur définit de préférence un rapport d'un écoulement massique depuis un compartiment, en l'absence d'un asperseur de décharge, sur un écoulement massif depuis un compartiment, en présence d'un asperseur de décharge. En conséquence, les système et procédés sont prévus pour que le coefficient d'asperseur définisse une équation d'écoulement massique en tenant compte de l'influence d'une pulvérisation d'un asperseur de décharge, et fournissent un nouveau calculateur d'écoulement massique induit par un incendie.
