Systems and methods for designing and manufacturing customized prefabricated buildings in optimized modules. In one embodiment, a system for manufacturing a customized prefabricated building includes a computer-usable medium having a sequence of instructions which causes a processor to execute a process including receiving a specification for a customized prefabricated building that identifies components for the prefabricated building and the dimensions of the components, modularizing the specification into modules meeting overall length, width, and height limitations, and optimizing the modularization; a programmable manufacturing system controller coupled to the computer-usable medium and configured to generate instructions for manufacturing the said optimized modules having the plurality of components identified in the specification received by the computer-usable medium; and a manufacturing system coupled to the programmable manufacturing controller configured to execute the instructions generated by the programmable manufacturing controller for building the said optimized modules having the specified plurality of components.
L'invention concerne des systèmes et des procédés pour concevoir et produire des bâtiments préfabriqués personnalisés dans des modules optimalisés. Dans un mode de réalisation, l'invention concerne un système pour produire un bâtiment préfabriqué personnalisé. Ce système comprend un support pouvant être utilisé par ordinateur, comportant une séquence d'instructions qui commande un processeur pour que celui-ci exécute un processus consistant : à recevoir une spécification pour un bâtiment préfabriqué personnalisé qui identifie des composants pour le bâtiment préfabriqué et les dimensions des composants ; à modulariser cette spécification en modules qui sont conformes aux limites générales de longueur, de largeur et de hauteur, et ; à optimaliser cette modularisation. Le système selon l'invention comprend également : un contrôleur de système de production programmable qui est couplé au support pouvant être utilisé par ordinateur, et qui est configuré pour générer des instructions pour produire lesdits modules optimalisés comportant la pluralité de composants identifiés dans ladite spécification reçue par ledit support, et ; un système de production qui est couplé au contrôleur de production programmable qui est configuré pour exécuter les instructions générées par le contrôleur de production programmable pour produire lesdits modules optimisés comportant la pluralité spécifié de composants.
