To minimize static leakage of an integrated circuit, a charge pump generates a negative voltage to be applied to a "sleep" transistor cascaded to a logic gate of the integrated circuit. An adaptive leakage controller determines continuously or periodically whether to adjust the negative voltage to minimize the static leakage. A negative voltage regulator adjusts the negative voltage depending on the determination. Some embodiments determine whether to adjust the negative voltage by monitoring one or more parameters of the sleep transistor. Some embodiments determine whether to adjust the negative voltage by monitoring one or more parameters of an emulated sleep transistor.
L'objectif de l'invention est de minimiser une fuite statique d'un circuit intégré. A cet effet une pompe de charge produit une tension négative à appliquer un transistor en mode veille mis en cascade avec une passerelle logique du circuit intégré. Un dispositif de commande de fuite adaptatif détermine continuellement ou périodiquement le réglage de la tension négative, de manière à minimiser la fuite statique. Un régulateur de tension négative règle la tension négative selon cette détermination. Des modes de réalisation permettent de déterminer si la tension négative doit être réglée, grâce à la surveillance d'un ou plusieurs paramètres du transistor en mode veille. D'autres modes de réalisation permettent de déterminer si la tension négative doit être réglée grâce à la surveillance d'un ou plusieurs paramètres d'un transistor en mode veille émulée.
