Systems and methods according to embodiment of the present invention prevent or otherwise mitigate data corruption and interference that may result when a communications on-the-move transmission is blocked by a radio relay link antenna transmitting on a shared frequency band. Harmful radiation that could affect persons blocking the line-of-sight of a COTM transmission is also prevented or mitigated. According to one embodiment of the present invention, if a building or other obstruction blocks the line-of-sight between a COTM antenna and a target satellite, the transmission will automatically cease, preventing or minimizing any potential interference that can occur, such as the interference to a radio relay link antenna operating atop a building. Similarly, persons who may have been in the line-of-sight will not be subjected to harmful radiation. COTM transmission remains offline until free line-of-sight is re-established.
L'invention concerne des systèmes et des procédés permettant d'empêcher ou d'atténuer la corruption de données et les interférences provoquées lors du blocage de communications à transmission en déplacement par une antenne de liaison relais radio transmettant sur une bande de fréquence partagée. Le rayonnement nocif pouvant affecter les personnes bloquant la ligne de visée d'une transmission COTM est également évité ou atténué. Selon l'un des modes de réalisation de cette invention, si un bâtiment ou une autre obstruction bloque la ligne de visée entre l'antenne COTM et un satellite cible, la transmission cessera automatiquement, empêchant ainsi ou minimisant toute interférence potentielle pouvant survenir, notamment l'interférence d'une antenne de liaison relais radio se trouvant sur un bâtiment. De même, des personnes qui se seraient trouvées dans la ligne de visée n'auraient pas été exposées au rayonnement nocif. La transmission COTM reste hors ligne jusqu'au rétablissement d'une ligne de visée dégagée.
