Systems and methods for estimating work-force talent supply. Candidate resumes are received in electronic form and expressed in natural language. The natural language expression of the candidate resumes is analyzed to extract elements expressed in candidate re-sumes and to convert extracted elements into a normalized form. A sampling database of candidates is built using normalized form of elements produced by the analysis of candidate resumes to provide an element-level description of each candidate in the sampling database. Data from the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS) is used to deter-mine the national supply of workforce talent by occupa-tion, and the national or regional workforce supply of tal-ent is estimated at an element level by statistically extrap-olating the information in the sampling database in accor-dance with the BLS data.
Cette invention se rapporte à des systèmes et à des procédés destinés à estimer un approvisionnement en main d'uvre. Des curriculum vitae de candidats sont reçus sous une forme électronique et exprimés dans un langage naturel. L'expression en langage naturel des curriculum vitae de candidats est analysée de manière à extraire des éléments exprimés dans les curriculum vitae de candidats et à convertir les éléments extraits sous une forme normalisée.
