Systems and methods of the invention can equalize the pressure between an interior cavity and an environment exterior to the interior cavity, while providing for acoustic isolation between the two environments so that acoustic energy propagating through one environment does not cause acoustic vibrations in the other environment. In one application, these pressure compensation systems are employed to equalize the pressure on either side of a moving coil projector, thereby reducing the deleterious effect that a pressure differential across the moving coil projector can have on the operation of the moving coil projector and reducing the likelihood that propagating acoustic energy can result in phase cancellation that reduces the acoustic performance of the moving coil projector.
Ces systèmes et les procédés correspondant permettent d'égaliser la pression entre une cavité intérieure et un environnement intérieur et ce, dans ladite cavité intérieure, tout en assurant une isolation acoustique entre les deux environnements, de sorte que l'énergie acoustique se propageant dans un environnement n'entraîne pas de vibrations dans l'autre. Dans une réalisation, on utilise ces systèmes d'égalisation de pression pour égaliser la pression des deux côtés d'un projecteur à bobine mobile, ce qui réduit les effets préjudiciables qu'une différence de pression sur le projecteur à bobine mobile peut avoir sur le fonctionnement de celui-ci et diminue les risques que la propagation de l'énergie acoustique n'entraîne une annulation de phase susceptible d'influer sur les bonnes conditions de fonctionnement du projecteur à bobine mobile.
