In the distributed enterprise application integration system, modularized components located on multiple hosts are centrally managed so as to facilitate communication among application programs. Collaboration services traditionally associated with a central server, such as, for example, message queues, message publishers/subscribers, and message processes, are instead distributed to multiple hosts and monitored by a central registry service. This system allow configuration management to be performed in a central location using a top-level approach, while implementation and execution tasks are distributed and delegated to various components that communicate with the applications.
Dans un système réparti d'intégration d'applications d'entreprises, on centralise la gestion de composants mudularisés situés dans de multiples hôtes pour faciliter les communications entre les programmes d'applications. Les services de collaboration traditionnellement associés à un serveur central, par exemple: les files d'attente de messages, les éditeurs/souscripteurs de messages et le traitement des messages sont au lieu de cela répartis entre de nombreux hôtes et suivis par un service central d'enregistrement. Ce système permet de gérer la configuration depuis un site central moyennant une approche de haut niveau alors que les tâches de mise en oeuvre et d'exécution sont réparties et déléguées aux différents composants en communication avec les applications.
