The systems and methods described herein provide Web based tools that allows a custodial bank or other institution to provide their security lending customers or prospective customers with tools for analyzing different risks/return scenarios. To this end, these Web-based systems may lead a security holder (10) through a process; wherein the security holder creates a profile that describes the different types of securities within their portfolio (18) and describes the allocation of the security assets (18) among different asset classes. The Web-based processes are capable of generating graphical images of the estimated earnings and certain risks present in a securities lending transaction (16), to thereby present to the security holder a visual representation of the information the holder needs to make an informed investment decision.
Les systèmes et les procédés décrits concernent des outils offerts sur Internet qui permettent à une banque dépositaire ou à une autre institution de fournir à leurs clients de placement de titres ou à leurs prospects des outils permettant d'analyser différents scénarios de risques/rendement. Dans ce but, ces systèmes offerts sur Internet peuvent conduire un possesseur de titre à travers un processus qui permet au possesseur de titre de créer un profil qui décrit les différents types de titres présents dans leur portefeuille et décrit la répartition des valeurs de titres parmi différentes classes de valeurs. Les procédés offerts par Internet peuvent générer des images graphiques des gains estimés et certains risques présents dans une transaction de placement de titres. De cette façon, afin de présenter au possesseur de valeur une représentation visuelle de l'information le possesseur doit prendre une décision de placement fondée.
