A method and system of rendering buildings in three-dimensional space first renders a respective floor, then adds objects and finally walls to bound each of the floors. The result, a three-dimensional rendering of a building, has translucent walls and illustrates the position of objects within the building in addition to presenting the overall shape of the building. The building can be rotated or enlarged to clarify the position of the various objects in space.

La présente invention a trait à un procédé et un système pour le rendu d'immeubles dans un espace tridimensionnel assurant le rendu d'un étage respectif suivi de l'addition d'objets et finalement de murs délimitant chacun des étages. Le résultat, constituant un rendu tridimensionnel d'un immeuble, présente des murs translucides et illustre la position d'objets au sein de l'immeuble outre la présentation de la configuration globale de l'immeuble. L'immeuble peut être soumis à une rotation ou agrandi pour préciser la position des divers objets dans l'espace.
