To facilitate faster, more efficient, and more effective extraction of information from patent file histories, the present inventors, devised among other things, systems and method for tracking changes to patent claims, specifications, and/or drawings that are shown in file wrappers. One exemplary system graphically displays the patent family and/or file wrapper time-line. Another reports information about a specific patent, an examiner, a technology area, and other patent related information that can be pulled from the file wrapper.
La présente invention concerne, entre autres choses, des systèmes et des procédés de suivi des changements dans les revendications, spécifications ou dessins de brevets présentés dans les enveloppes des fichiers, inventés par les inventeurs afin de faciliter une extraction plus rapide et plus efficace des informations issues des historiques des fichiers de brevets. Un système donné à titre dexemple affiche graphiquement la famille du brevet ou la chronologie de l'enveloppe des fichiers. Un autre rapporte des informations sur un brevet spécifique, un examinateur, un domaine technologique et d'autres informations relatives au brevet qui peuvent être extraites de l'enveloppe de fichiers.
