The present invention related to devices and methods for using ferrite alignment keys in wireless remote sensor assemblies. In one aspect, the invention provides wireless resonant sensor assemblies comprising a pick-up coil, a ferrite alignment key positioned in and extending from the pick-up coil, and wireless resonant sensor having a receiving element wherein the pick--up coil and the wireless resonant sensor align upon insertion of the ferrite alignment key into the receiving element. The ferrite alignment key may also be part of a resonant sensor such that insertion of a pick-up coil into a receiving element of the alignment key results in a configuration where the alignment key is positioned in and extended from the pick-up coil. Methods of measuring one or more parameters of a monitoring system are also provided. The insertion of the ferrite alignment key aligns the pick-up coil and wireless resonant sensor thereby increasing sensing of the wireless resonant sensor by the pick-up coil.

Dans un mode de réalisation, l'invention concerne des ensembles de capteurs résonnants sans fil comprenant une bobine de détection, un motif d'alignement en ferrite positionné à l'intérieur de la bobine de détection et s'étendant à partir de celle-ci, le capteur résonnant sans fil comprenant un élément récepteur, la bobine de détection et le capteur résonnant sans fil s'alignant lors de linsertion des motifs d'alignement en ferrite à l'intérieur de l'élément récepteur. Le motif d'alignement en ferrite peut également faire partie d'un capteur résonnant de sorte que l'insertion d'une bobine de détection à l'intérieur d'un élément récepteur du motif d'alignement résulte en une configuration dans laquelle le motif d'alignement est positionné à l'intérieur de la bobine de détection et s'étend à partir de celle-ci. L'invention concerne également des procédés de mesure d'un ou de plusieurs paramètres d'un système de surveillance. L'insertion du motif d'alignement en ferrite permet d'aligner la bobine de détection et le capteur résonnant sans fil augmentant de ce fait la capacité de détection du capteur résonnant sans fil par la bobine de détection.
