Systems and devices for determining a joint line position are disclosed. According to one embodiment, a femoral trial component device (10) comprises an anterior flange and at least one indicator (20) on the anterior flange of the femoral trial component to indicate a desired joint line position such as a patellofemoral contact point in extension.
