A method of retrieving a customized telecommunication service procedure stored as a cutomized call processing information record from a storage system for display and modification by a user. The method involves the steps of: retreiving the binary coded customized call processing record from the storage system; converting the binary coded customized call processing record into a data structure representation of the customized telecommunication service procedure; and finally converting the data structure representation into a graphical representation of the customized telecommunications service procedure. The conversion is performed by a display level software process.
L'invention est une méthode d'extraction d'un système de stockage, pour fins d'affichage et de modification par un utilisateur, d'une procédure de service de télécommunication personnalisée stockée sous la forme d'un enregistrement d'informations de traitement d'appels personnalisé. La méthode de l'invention comprend les opérations suivantes : extraction du système de stockage de l'enregistrement de traitement d'appels personnalisé codé binaire; conversion de cet enregistrement de traitement d'appels personnalisé codé binaire en une représentation de structure de données de la procédure de service de télécommunication personnalisée; et finalement, conversion de cette représentation de structure de données en une représentation graphique de la procédure de service de télécommunication personnalisée. Cette conversion est effectuée par un processus logiciel opérant au niveau de l'affichage.
