Systems and methods are defined for facilitating the audit process involving a business client, an auditor, and a third-party providing confirmations for the client upon the auditor's request. More specifically, an auditor receives an audit number from the audited client as evidence of authorization for requesting confirmation from a third-party, such as a bank or related business entity. The confirmation request submitted by the auditor will be stored in a network-based computer system and transmitted to the relevant third-party. The third-party then provides necessary confirmation data in response to the request and has the confirmation data transferred to the auditor through the computer system over the Internet. The involved third-party can be a bank or financial institution, another entity in business relationship with the client, or any other entity that has access to the requested data associated with the client.
Des systèmes et des procédés sont définis pour faciliter un processus de contrôle impliquant un client commercial, un contrôleur et un tiers procurant des informations pour le client à la demande du contrôleur. Plus spécifiquement, un contrôleur reçoit un numéro de contrôle d~un client contrôlé comme preuve d~autorisation de requête de confirmation d~un tiers, tel une banque ou une entité commerciale apparentée. La requête de confirmation soumise par le contrôleur est stockée dans un système informatique basé sur un réseau et transmis au tiers correspondant. Le tiers fournit alors les données de confirmation nécessaires en réponse à la requête et fait transférer les données de confirmation au contrôleur par l~intermédiaire du système informatisé via Internet. Le tiers impliqué peut être une banque ou une institution financière, une autre entité en relation commerciale avec le client ou une autre entité quelconque ayant accès aux données requises associées avec le client.
