ABSTRACT A process of air purification in an automobile heating and ventilation system. In an automobile heating and ventilation system, the fan, set to intake fresh air, drafts outside air through a coarse grating in the fan housing. In this process, the filter housing has been designed to contain a removable air filtration cartridge. The air filtration cartridge is equipped with both a pre-filter and a main body filter. The filter is designed to purify the fresh air, as it is drawn through the fan housing and, in turn, distributed through the system.
