A pack of T-shirt type plastic bags which are preferably self-opening are adapted to be mounted on a support rack and leave no residue on the support rack when removed therefrom. The T-shirt plastic bags include front and rear walls integrally joined at their sides and secured at their bottoms and defining an open mouth portion at the top of the walls, laterally-spaced upwardly-extending handles on each side at the top and each having an aperture therein for mounting the handles on respective support arms of a rack, and a detaching central tab at the top of each of the walls and each having an aperture therein for mounting the central tabs on a tab retaining device on the rack. The aperture in the tab of at least the rear wall has a nick formed in the wall near the top thereof to propagate a tear through the tab for detaching the tab from the rack while retaining sufficient strength in the portion of the tab above the mounting aperture to prevent premature tearing of the tab and detaching from the rack. The mounting aperture in the tab of both the front and rear walls of the bag have a maximum width dimension in the relaxed condition thereof which is less than and a minimum width in the stretched condition thereof which is greater than a predetermined maximum width of a conventional tab retaining device of the "D-ring" type on the rack to adapt the tab mounting apertures of the bag to be stretched over the tab retaining device of the rack when the bags are mounted on the rack to prevent wedging of the detaching tabs behind the tab retaining device of the rack for complete detachment of the tabs from the rack.
Un paquet de sacs d'épicerie en plastique, préférablement auto-ouvrants, est adapté pour être monté sur un porte-sacs et n'y laisser aucun résidu lorsque les sacs sont retirés. Les sacs d'épicerie comprennent des parois avant et arrière reliées entièrement à leurs côtés et fixées à leur fond, et définissent une ouverture à la partie supérieure des parois, des poignées espacées latéralement s'étendant vers le haut de chaque côté, chacune ayant une ouverture pour monter les poignées sur les bras de support respectifs du porte-sacs, et une bande de détachement centrale se trouvant à la partie supérieure de chacune des parois. Chaque paroi est munie d'une ouverture pour monter les bandes centrales sur le dispositif de retenue de bandes sur le porte-sacs. L'ouverture de la bande, au moins de la paroi arrière, possède une entaille sur la paroi supérieure pour faire une déchirure à travers la bande afin de détacher celle-ci du porte-sacs, tout en maintenant une résistance de retenue suffisante, dans la partie de la bande située au-dessus de l'ouverture de montage, pour éviter une déchirure prématurée de la bande et empêcher qu'elle ne se détache du porte-sacs. L'ouverture de montage dans la bande des parois avant et arrière du sac a une largeur maximale, lorsque celle-ci est relâchée, ouverture qui est plus petite et qui a une largeur minimale lorsqu'étirée, mais qui est plus grande que la largeur maximale prédéfinie d'un dispositif de retenue à bande conventionnelle de l'anneau en forme de D sur le porte-sacs, pour permettre aux ouvertures de montage des bandes du sac d'être étirées sur le dispositif de retenue de bandes lorsque les sacs sont montés sur le porte-sacs. Cela évite qu'il y ait un coïncement des bandes de détachement derrière le dispositif de retenue afin que celles-ci puissent se détacher complètement du porte-sacs.
