ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A non-detachable tab adapted to be secured to the end panel of a container which comprises a securing lug formed from the sheet metal of the tab, the lug having an attachment to the nose portion of the lug in an area which has not been work hardened and also which has been formed to provide several axes of hinging and thereby increasing the number of times that the tab can be hinged back and forth without breaking off. -1-
