The invention relates to a piece of furniture, for example, a table, comprising a frame (3), supported on legs (2) and carrying a table top (6), embodied with two parallel separate longitudinal profiles (4) and at least two transverse struts (5), connected to the above and which has hollow recesses (7), accessible from the underside thereof, for the upper end sections (2.1) of the legs (2). A simple and stable leg fixing is thus achieved, whereby coil- section shaped contact elements (7.2) are arranged on the circumferential inner surfaces (7.1) in the recesses (7), and contact elements (2.2), cooperating with the above for a play-free fixing of the legs (2), are arranged on the external surface of the end sections (2.1), or that conversely the spiral section shaped contact elements are embodied on the end sections (2.1) and the contact elements (2.2) are embodied in the recesses (7).
L'invention concerne un meuble, une table par exemple, qui comprend un cadre (3) soutenu par des pieds (2) et portant un plateau de table (6), qui est formé de deux profilés longitudinaux parallèles (4) et d'au moins deux entretoises (5) reliées à ces profilés et qui présente des logements creux (7) accessibles à partir de sa face inférieure et destinés à des segments terminaux supérieurs (2.1) des pieds (2). L'invention vise à obtenir un montage des pieds qui soit simple et stable. A cet effet, des éléments d'engagement (7.2) en forme de segment hélicoïdal sont réalisés dans les logements (7) sur une face intérieure périphérique correspondante (7.1) et des éléments d'engagement complémentaires (2.2) coopérant avec les éléments d'engagement pour la fixation sans jeu des pieds (2) sont réalisés sur les faces extérieures correspondantes des segments terminaux (2.1). Ou bien, à l'inverse, les éléments d'engagement en forme de segment hélicoïdal sont réalisés au niveau des segments terminaux (2.1) et les éléments d'engagement complémentaires (2.2) sont réalisés dans les logements (7).
