ABSTRACT A table with an undivided table top and with table top extensions; each extension comprising sliding bars, which are arranged for sliding on the top side of the table frame, and a pair of leaves, one on top of the other, the top leaf hinged to the bottom leaf so it can be swung about the bottom leaf to locate the leaves side by side; the frame having a cross- shaped member with a top plate and a bottom plate mounted there- on, the top and bottom plates smaller in size than the table top; the cross-shaped member guiding the horizontal movement of the sliding bars, between the top and bottom plates, by engaging their free ends, the bottom plate supporting the sliding bars with the leaves stored under the table top, the top plate and the frame supporting the sliding bars with the leaves pulled out from under the table top; the table top having a downwar- dly facing edge.
