A table for use in an office-type environment includes a height-adjustable work surface and an article-supportive surround which extends upwardly from a rear edge of the work surface. The work surface is horizontally enlarged and slopes upwardly away from the front edge thereof to facilitate the storage and organization of documents. Also, the article-supportive surround is formed from three vertically adjacent but horizontally offset shelves which provide additional area for the storage of documents in a readily viewable upright position.

Table utilisable dans un environnement de type bureau, comprenant une surface de travail réglable en hauteur et un entourage support d'articles, placé dans le prolongement du bord arrière de la surface de travail et dirigé vers le haut. La surface de travail est élargie horizontalement et s'incline vers le haut à l'opposé de son bord avant, pour faciliter le rangement et le classement de documents. En outre l'entourage support d'articles est formé de trois étagères adjacentes verticalement et décalées horizontalement qui offrent une place supplémentaire permettant de ranger des documents dans une position verticale qui les rend facilement repérables.
