ABSTRACT A tachometer-odometer for snow skiing and similar applications fixable to ski by means of an adjustable clamp (2) without the necessity for holes or the weaknesses holes create. The clamp sustains the support (6) of a rotating axis (10) at the ends of which two shaped wheels (11) for contacting the snow during movement causing them to rotate. Inside the support a housing is provided in which is accomodated an electronic device provided with an optic or magnetic detector (16) for measuring the rotation of said rotating axis. Said device is capable of providing the values of maximum velocity, average velocity and distance travelled by the skier, as well as other useful values. The clamp is provided with projecting teeth (4) which abut against the lateral surface of the ski and can be tightened to said support by means of screws. Gages (12) to be interposed between the support and ski are provided for in order to register the position of the rotating wheels with respect to the snow. (Fig.1)
