A quantity of fluid resin material is rendered into a flowable state without the use of solvents. The fabric (1) is then beaded with at least one elongate bead (11) of the flowable resin, wherein at least a portion of the bead (11) remains on the surface of the fabric (1) to tackify the fabric (1) and facilitate lay-up of the beaded fabric (100) in the composite molding process. The beaded fabric (100) then is laid-up into a molding apparatus, wherein the bead (11) adheres to surfaces in the molding apparatus and assists in positioning of the beaded fabric (100) therein. A further quantity of resin is disposed or injected under pressure into the molding appparatus and into contact with the fabric (1) and contours of the mold. The resin is then cured to form the composite body.
Une quantité de matériau résineux fluide est rendu coulante sans l'emploi de solvants. Le tissu (1) est ensuite muni d'au moins un cordon allongé (11) de la résine coulante, processus dans lequel au moins une partie du cordon (11) demeure sur la surface du tissu (1) pour le rendre adhésif et faciliter la pose du tissu muni de cordons de résine (100) dans le processus de moulage du composite. Le tissu muni de cordons de résine (100) est ensuite placé dans un moule, le cordon (11) adhérant aux surfaces du moule et y facilitant le positionnement du tissu (100). Une autre quantité de résine est disposée ou injectée sous pression dans le moule et amenée en contact avec le tissu (1) et les contours du moule. La résine est ensuite durcie pour former le corps composite.
