Novel advanced tackifying resins designed for the formulation of single-component hot melt moisture-curing adhesives are described. These resins are obtained by reacting rosins, ricin oil, phenol-modified styrene resins or phenol terpenes with an excess of polyisocyanate, more specifically MDI. Hot melt adhesives formulated with modified resins are creep resistant at high temperatures of up to 160 degrees C.

On décrit de nouvelles résines tackifiantes perfectionnées destinées à la formulation d'adhésifs thermofusibles monocomposants spontanément réticulables par l'humidité. Ces résines s'obtiennent par réaction de colophanes, d'huile de ricin, de résines styréniques modifiées par le phénol ou de terpènes phénoliques par un excès de polyisocyanate, et plus particulièrement de MDI. Les adhésifs thermofusibles formulés avec ces résines modifiées résistent correctement au fluage à des température élevées pouvant atteindre 160°C.
