Tactile control for automated bucket loading is achieved through the use of sensor feedback provided by pressure and extension sensors on hydraulic cylinder(s) to control the trajectory of the bucket to be loaded by a computer algorithm. Additional sensors can be used to provide further control of the loading cycle and of the vehicle operation. The invention can be integrated with existing machinery or used on new loaders, such as LHDs, equipped with a suitable control interface capable of taking computerized control of the vehicle's actions.

Cette invention concerne une commande automatique de godet de chargement fondée sur la rétroaction de capteurs de pression et de position montés sur les vérins hydrauliques pour régler les mouvements dudit godet au moyen d'algorithmes informatisés. D'autres capteurs peuvent être intégrés pour une maîtrise plus fine du cycle de chargement et du fonctionnement du véhicule. L'objet de l'invention peut être intégré aux machines existantes comme aux nouveaux chargeurs-transporteurs équipés d'une interface de commande informatisable.
