Abstract of the Disclosure The means for feeding a tag pin assembly in this tag attacher consists of a cam plate which can be moved up and down along a guide bore in which the tag pin assembly is inserted, a locking member pivotably provided on the cam plate, and a spring provided between the locking member and the tag attacher body. The locking member has locks adapted to come into contact with the opposite surfaces of a connecting bar in the tag pin assembly so as to apply force thereto for moving the same. When the cam plate is moved upward against the force of the spring during a tag pin-driving operation, opposite surfaces of the connecting bar are pressed and held by the locking member oscillatably provided on the cam plate. When the lever provided on the tag attacher body is released from the gripping force applied thereto, the cam plate is lowered by the resilient force of the spring to feed a tag pin in the tag pin assembly to a driving position in a rear portion of a side-slitted needle.
