In the novelties and collectibles industry it is known that the value of a collectable or novelty item is dependent on the condition of the said item and its component parts at the time of valuation. In this invention the intent is to offer protection to the tag or label which is secured to the novelty item by the manufacturer of the said item. A protective case has been created in order to envelope and encase the tag or label while permitting it to remain fastened to the particular novelty or collectible item. Using clear plastic molded to the shape of tag or label, the invention permits the clear viewing of the tag and its inscriptions while ensuring that it can be preserved in its pristine condition. The casing permits for the fastening agent which secures the tag or label to the item to remains secured without impeding its function. The protective case is manufactured to specification to ensure that it fits to form for any tag or label for which protection is required. The case is manufactured using clear rigid Polyvinyl Chloride plastic formed by injection molding in such a way as to ensure that it encases the tag or label and is self fastening to remain securely closed.
