The present invention provides nucleic acid amplification methods that desirably reduce or eliminate false positive amplification signals resulting from contaminating biological material, e.g., nucleic acid, that may be present in one or more reagents used in an amplification reaction and/or that may be present in the environment in which an amplification reaction is performed. The invention offers the further advantage of requiring less stringent purification and/or sterility efforts than conventionally needed in order to ensure that enzymes and other reagents used in amplification reactions, and the environment in which an amplification reaction is performed, are free of bacterial or other nucleic acid contamination that may yield false positive results.
La présente invention concerne des procédés d'amplification d'acides nucléiques qui réduisent ou éliminent préférentiellement les signaux d'amplification faux positifs résultant du matériel biologique contaminant, par exemple, d'un acide nucléique susceptible d'être présent dans un ou plusieurs réactifs utilisés dans une réaction d'amplification et/ou susceptible d'être présent dans l'environnement de mise en AEuvre de la réaction d'amplification. L'invention présente l'avantage supplémentaire de réduire la rigueur des contraintes de purification et/ou de stérilité par rapport aux efforts habituellement nécessaires pour garantir que les enzymes et d'autres réactifs utilisés dans les réactions d'amplification, ainsi que l'environnement de mise en AEuvre d'une réaction d'amplification, sont exempts d'une contamination bactérienne ou par d'autres acides nucléiques susceptible de conduire à des résultats faux positifs.
