ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A seasoning dispenser comprises a container body having an apertured end to permit seasoning in the container body to be dispensed over food. A microswitch, located in the container body, is actuated when the container body is lifted off a table. The microswitch actuates a voice synthesizer that emits a message indicative of the contents of the seasoning dispenser.
