ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A tamper-evident closure with handle has a top portion, a depending annular flange thereon and a peripheral tear skirt and a ring on said depending annular flange, the tear skirt being shaped to conform tightly to an external annular rib on a container, the ring being shaped to conform tightly to the container beneath the external annular rib, first and second frangible walls extending circumferentially of said peripheral tear skirt, one adjacent said depending annular flange and the other adjacent said ring, a pull tab on said peripheral tear skirt adjacent a vertical frangible wall therein, the handle engaging said ring.
