ABSTRACT A container closure and container body assembly in which the container body has a mouth and an external annular or substantially annular projecting bead around the outside of the body below the mouth and in which the closure comprises a cap part and a tamper resistant band connected to the cap part by frangible means in which the tamper resistant band is provided with a plurality of spaced apart individual lugs on the inner surface of the band to co-operate with the external projecting bead around the outside of the container body.
