A tamper-resistant independent brake valve device for use in a brake equipment on railway locomotives including a main body casing carrying a movable handle, a rotatable cam, a pivotal cam dog and an exhaust and supply valve assembly, a spring housing attached to said main body casing by a plurality of one-way screws, a break-away adjusting screw for setting the maximum brake cylinder pressure on the railway locomotive, the pivotal cam dog including an enlarged head portion to preclude the insertion of a prying tool, and the pivotal cam dog having cam engaging roller which is rotated on a round head roller pin.
Robinet de frein à air de mécanicien, indépendant et indémontable pour utilisation dans les systèmes de freinage de locomotive; celui-ci comporte un boîtier pourvu d'un levier, une came rotative, un doigt de came pivotant, des valves d'échappement et d'alimentation, un logement de ressort fixé au corps du boîtier par une pluralité de vis indémontables, et une vis de réglage de la pression maximale du cylindre de frein de la locomotive; le doigt de came pivotant comporte une tête surdimensionnée pour prévenir l'insertion d'une barre-levier ainsi qu'un galet d'embrayage en rotation sur un axe de galet à tête ronde.
