The invention relates to a tampon applicator assembly with an insertion end and a rear end containing a tampon (1) made from absorbent material and an applicator comprising an outer tube (13) and an inner tube (7) able to slide in it in a telescopic arrangement, and the outer tube has at its insertion end at least two integrally formed, inwardly directed closure portions (15), and the tampon (1) protrudes out from the insertion end of the inner tube (7) by means of its insertion end and is completely accommodated inside the outer tube (13). The internal surface of the outer tube (13) is smooth-walled from the closure portions (15) to at least half the length of the outer tube without any inwardly extending projections. This assembly is extremely simple to manufacture. During use, the tampon (2) is pushed forward by pushing the inner tube (7) forward in the outer tube (13) until it forces the closure portions (15) of the outer tube (13) outwards and protrudes out of the outer tube (13) by an amount. When the inner tube (7) is then pulled back, the tampon (1) is held firmly in its pushed-forward position by the closure portions (15) of the outer tube (13).
L'invention concerne un dispositif applicateur à tampon présentant une extrémité d'entrée et une extrémité arrière, renfermant un tampon (2) en un matériau absorbant, et un applicateur comprenant un tube extérieur (13) et un tube intérieur (7) déplaçable de manière télescopique à l'intérieur, caractérisé en ce que le tube extérieur présente, à son extrémité d'entrée, au moins deux sections de fermeture (15) orientées vers l'intérieur, formées d'une seule pièce, et en ce que le tampon (2) est en saillie, par son extrémité d'entrée, par rapport à l'extrémité d'entrée du tube intérieur (7) et est logé entièrement à l'intérieur du tube extérieur (13). La surface intérieure du tube extérieur (13) est configurée, à partir des sections de fermeture (15) jusqu'à au moins la moitié de la longueur du tube extérieur, à paroi lisse, sans parties en saillie émergeant vers l'intérieur. Ce dispositif est d'une fabrication particulièrement simple. Lors de l'utilisation, le tampon (2) est poussé, par déplacement du tube intérieur (7) dans le tube extérieur (13), jusqu'à ce qu'il repousse les sections de fermeture (15) du tube extérieur (13), vers l'extérieur, et qu'une partie émerge du tube extérieur (13). Lors du retrait ultérieur du tube intérieur (7), le tampon (2) est maintenu fixe en sa position repoussée, par la section de fermeture (15) du tube extérieur (13).
