The flood leak protection container is for the control of a sudden leak from a Hot Water Tank so that the leaking water will not flow on the floor causing damage to rugs etc. The container is placed close to a floor drain so that the leaking tank water is contained within the container and directed out through a spigot to the floor drain. The Hot Water Tank is placed in the container at the time of tank installation.
