ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE In a slide fastener having a separable end connection, as of the box-and-pin type, that includes a pin on one stringer tape and a box on the other tape at one end of the fastener, a pair of tape end reinforcements are provided which are molded integral with the pin and the box, respectively. Each tape end reinforcement has a pair of main portions over- lying the opposite surfaces of one of the stringer tapes and integrally connected together through bridge portions extending through holes in the tape. The main portions of each reinforcement have convex edges directed toward the other end of the fastener, thus preventing the concentrated formation of wrinkles on the stringer tapes as when the fastener is opened by moving the slider down to the separable end connection.
