Tape Roller for a Tape Cassette Abstract A tape roller (20, 22, 24) has a plastic sleeve which is journalled between bearings (32) formed in opposing walls (28, 30) of a plastic cassette housing (10, 12). The wall (28, 30) is cored out around at least one of those bearings (32) so that the bearing (32) is supported only by bridges (38, 39) which bow outwardly to receive an oversize sleeve (26). Preferably there are two such bridges (38, 39) at the bearing (32), the thicknesses of which are about 20% that of the wall (28, 30).
