This invention provides a multi-compartmentalized container (10) made of a thermoplastic material for packaging bundles of tapered filaments. The container has a bottom receiving section (12) comprising a plurality of wells (18) and a cover (14) containing wells (20) that correspond to the wells (18) in the receiving section. The receiving section wells (18) contain ribs (26) that aid in guiding the filament bundles into the well. The container allows ease of handling filaments during packaging and securely holds the filaments during shipping to reduce filament damage.
L'invention concerne un récipient multi-compartiment (10) constitué d'un matériau thermoplastique destiné à emballer des faisceaux de filaments effilés. Le récipient présente une section réceptrice inférieure (12) comportant une pluralité de puits (18) et un couvercle (14) contenant des puits (20) qui correspondent à ceux (18) présents dans la section réceptrice. Les puits de la section réceptrice (18) contiennent des nervures (26) qui contribuent à guider les faisceaux de filaments dans le puits. Le récipient facilite la manipulation des filaments pendant l'emballage et maintient de façon sûre les filaments pendant l'expédition pour réduire les dommages occasionnés aux filaments.
