ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE The present invention relates to a tapping device for a keg spigot with a holder for a base having a keg connector with, inside it, a beer pipe sealed against a pressure chamber with a spigot valve and a tapping component in which, according to the invention, the base has a helical-section slot with a pitch at least corresponding to the opening travel of the valve opening component. A bayonet sleeve can be inserted into the base from above and has its own slot which can be brought into register with the slot and an opposite guide edge with the same pitch, being a led-in open at the bottom is allocated to the guide edge. Between the bayonet sleeve and the base a hollow tapping pin with a valve opening component is movably held and connected to a circumferentially movable lever engaging through the slot opposite which there is a counter-pin guided on the guide edge. An immersion pin fitted with O-rings is inserted into the tapping pin and a connecting drilling therewith. Inside the immersion pin there is a beer pipe with a seal at the foot, and there is an empty space serving as a pressure chamber between the immersion pin and the beer pipe. The base has a sleeve butting on the holding component against which the tapping pin is sealed by an upper O-ring while there is a transverse drilling in the tapping pin beneath the O-ring.
