The present invention relates to methodology for polymer grafting by a polysaccharide synthase and, more partic-ularly, polymer grafting using the hyaluronate or chondroitin or heparin/heparosan synthases from Pasteurella, in order to create a variety of glycosaminoglycan oligosaccharides having a natural or chimeric or hybrid sugar structure with a targeted size that are substantially monodisperse in size. The present invention also relates to methodology for polymer grafting by a polysachharide synthase to form glycosaminoglycan polymers having an unnatural structure.
La présente invention concerne un procédé de greffage polymère par polysaccharide synthase et, plus particulièrement, de greffage polymère utilisant l'hyaluronate ou la chondroïtine ou l'héparine/héparosane synthases de Pasteurella, afin de créer une variété d'oligosaccharides de glycosaminoglycane qui présentent une structure de sucre naturelle ou chimère ou hybride de taille ciblée qui sont sensiblement monodispersés en taille. La présente invention concerne également un procédé de greffage polymère par polysaccharide synthase pour former des polymères de glycosaminoglycane qui présentent une structure non naturelle.
