This invention provides a taste masking composition composed of clove oil and either supportive flavor components and, optionally, calcium carbonate. This taste masking composition has been found to be particularly useful to mask unpalatable medicinals in formulations which are intended to be chewed, dissolve in the mouth prior to ingestion or ingested in solution.

L'invention concerne une composition destinée à masquer le goût, constituée d'huile essentielle de girofle et de composants aromatiques auxiliaires ou éventuellement de carbonate de calcium.
