Communicative services are transported over a TDMA or TDM access network by packetising the services into minicells which minicells are transported within minislots created by subdivision of the TDM time slots. For low bit rate communicative services only, minislots are allocated periodically rather than in the blocks that are allocated to high bit rate services. The packetisation delay inherent within the transport layer can be significantly reduced for these low bit rate services.
Selon la présente invention, pour transporter des services de communication sur un réseau à accès MRT ou AMRT, on met ces services en paquets dans des minicellules, lesquelles sont transportées dans des mini-créneaux que l'on forme en divisant les créneaux temporels MRT. Les mini-créneaux, qui sont alloués par blocs pour les services à débit binaire élevé, sont alloués périodiquement pour les services à faible débit binaire. Ceci permet de réduire de manière significative le délai de mise en paquets inhérent de la couche transport pour les services à faible débit binaire.
