A mobile ad-hoc network (MANET) includes a source mobile node, a destination mobile node, and a plurality of neighboring mobile nodes. The mobile nodes are operative for contending for a plurality of time division multiple access (TDMA) slots in a frame using beacons. Each neighboring node selects a TDMA slot per frame. For neighboring nodes not receiving an acknowledgment for successful beacons, those nodes contend on empty TDMA slots and resolve residual collisions using a collision detection mechanism.

La présente invention concerne un réseau ad-hoc mobile (MANET) qui comprend un noeud mobile source, un noeud mobile de destination, et une pluralité de noeuds mobiles avoisinants. Les nAEuds mobiles sont capables de disputer une pluralité d'intervalles d'accès multiple par répartition dans le temps (TDMA) dans une trame utilisant des balises. Chaque nAEud avoisinant sélectionne un intervalle TDMA par trame. Pour les nAEuds avoisinants ne recevant pas d'accusé de réception pour la réussite de balises, ces nAEuds luttent sur des intervalles TDMA vides et résolvent les collisions résiduelles à l'aide d'un mécanisme de détection de collision.
