Abstract of the disclosure A process for preparing a tea composition, which com- prises adding to soluble tea solids a flavouring agent con- taining an alkyl ester of an anthranilic acid selected from the group consisting of anthranilic acid, N-methyl anthranilic acid and N, N-dimethyl anthranilic acid, in an amount of 0.25 to 200 ppm of ester based on the weight of the soluble tea solids.
