PRECIS DE LA DIVULGATION: L'invention concerne des copolyétheramides homogè- nes, à structure bloc, ayant un point de fusion au moins égal à 170°C, une température de transition vitreuse au plus égale à -5°C et une viscosité à l'état fondu au moins égale à 500 poises. Ces copolyétheramides sont préparés en polycondensant un mélange comprenant un lactame et un sel de dimère d'acide gras et d'une polyoxyalkylènediamine, ledit sel étant sous forme d'une solution dans un milieu de dissolution approprié et ayant sa stoechiométrie rigoureu- sement établie par pH métrie, la réaction de polycondensation étant conduite en présence d'un oxyacide minéral ou organique fort. Ces copolyétheramides peuvent être utilisés avantageu- sement dans les applications technlques des polymères où de bonnes propriétés de souplesse à basses températures sont demandées.
