An in-the-ear technology delivery, positioning and sound management system comprises a body portion that provides support for a conformable fitting element adapted to be positioned in the user's ear canal and which is structured and arranged to anchor sound management technologies and medical instrumentalities at selected positions in the canal for the delivery and control of sound or for the performance of medical procedures therein. In an embodiment, a sound tube is provided which is adapted to deliver sound in close proximity to the ear drum and a method for selectively fitting the system in accordance with the wearer's personal comfort level is provided. In another embodiment, an apparatus and a method for a fitting pressure to be automatically applied along the device or aided by a fitting element that will facilitate placement and a secure fit in the ear canal is presented. A coating element comprising materials selected to manage, acoustically alter, or occlude sound properties and sound at selected depths within the ear canal is disclosed.
La présente invention concerne un système de fourniture, de positionnement et de gestion sonore de technologie qui comprend une partie de corps qui forme un support pour un élément de fixation adaptable conçu pour être positionné dans le canal auditif de l'utilisateur et qui est structuré et conçu pour ancrer des technologies de gestion sonore et des instruments médicaux en des endroits sélectionnés du canal pour la fourniture et le contrôle d'un son pour la réalisation d'actes médicaux dans celui-ci. Dans un mode de réalisation, un tube sonore est conçu pour fournir un son à proximité étroite de la membrane tympanique de l'oreille ainsi qu'un procédé pour fixer de manière sélective le système conformément au niveau de confort personnel de l'utilisateur. Dans un autre mode réalisation, l'invention concerne un appareil et un procédé pour qu'une pression de fixation soit appliquée automatiquement le long du dispositif ou facilitée par un élément de fixation qui va simplifier le positionnement et une fixation sûre dans le canal auditif. L'invention concerne enfin un élément de revêtement comprenant des matériaux sélectionnés pour gérer, modifier de manière acoustique ou occlure les propriétés sonores ainsi qu'un son à des profondeurs sélectionnées dans le canal.
