A tee-block features a generally T-shaped element including two vertically oriented flanges. The vertically oriented flanges have on the facing surfaces thereof a tee- retaining material, whereby when the T-shaped element is inverted, the vertically oriented flanges provide a tee-receptive slit which allows natural-like positioning of golf tees.
