The invention concerns a telecommunication cable comprising optical fibers (1) and stabilising fibers (6) arranged in a sheath (4) so as to ensure a longitudinal coupling with the latter, so that part of the stress to which the cable is subjected is distributed evenly over the whole assembly of fibers.
