An electrically conductive contact for electrically connecting an insulated conductor to an electrically conductive track of a printed circuit board, including bifurcate contact arms extending from a common section of the contact, an open end section of the contact arms being adapted to receive an end section of the insulated conductor, pierce the insulation and effect electrical connection therewith; and a fastener for electrically coupling the contact to the track of the printed circuit board, wherein the arms include torsion inhibitors for resiliently inhibiting movement of the arms about respective axes when the insulated conductor is forced there between.
L'invention porte sur un contact électriquement conducteur pour connecter électriquement un conducteur isolé à une piste électriquement conductrice d'une carte de circuit imprimé, comprenant des bras de contact bifurqués s'étendant à partir d'une section commune du contact, une section d'extrémité ouverte des bras de contact étant conçue pour recevoir une section d'extrémité du conducteur isolé, percer l'isolant et établir une connexion électrique au conducteur; et un élément de fixation pour coupler électriquement le contact à la piste de la carte de circuit imprimé, les bras comprenant des inhibiteurs de torsion pour inhiber de façon élastique un mouvement des bras autour d'axes respectifs lorsque le conducteur isolé est poussé entre eux.
